Baby Caterpillar - 25 Weeks

Oh hello 25 weeks, I feel like you're finally here but came around so quick at the same time!
25 weeks:
20 weeks:

What a huge growth spurt this little one has had in just 5 weeks! Although I'm carrying SO much fluid!
We are doing our progress picture again, so I'll share next week, come back to see!

I have just had some kidney tests done as they're worried about pre-eclampsia returning this time with some high BP readings and so much fluid and kidney pains. I'm waiting for the results now, so will update more on that next week too.

I haven't been toooo sick this week, thank goodness! I think I've only had two bad days, where I couldn't keep anything down. Things are definitely improving with my sickness, but I do hope it would completely leave me alone soon!!

Symptoms this week:
Hyperemisis.
Leg Cramps.
Pelvic Pain.
Braxton Hicks.
Swelling & Fluid.
Trouble Staying Asleep.
Feeling Hot.
Increased Appetite.
Colostrum.
High BP.

Weight gain: 7 kilo -I need to stop writing my weight I think, ekk! At least the doctor said it's mostly fluid.

Doctors/Midwives Appointment:
I had a doctors appointment this week, where they've put me on fortnightly appointments now because of my blood pressure instead of monthly. So my next appointment is in about a week and a half.
The doctor sent me off for tests on my kidneys, so fingers crossed all is okay there, and also gave me a referal to book my next scan. I'm so excited to see the baby again in a few weeks, but nervous as to what will be out of the cyst in their brain.

Scan:
 Around 3 more weeks.

Size of baby:
About 660gms, and 35 cms head to toe!.. grown 5cm in a week!
About as long as a zucchini!

Baby Caterpillar - 24 Weeks.

It's been an incredibly busy week pregnancy wise this week, full of swelling & high blood pressure (scary since I had pre-eclampsia with Jydan), a midwife appointment, braxton hicks and doing up the nursery!

So I woke up one morning and my legs, feet and arms were incredibly swollen. I couldn't even clench a fist! And my feet were so sore. I knew it was a normal part of pregnancy, but since I had pre-eclampsia with Jydan I thought it was better to get checked, and there it was! A BP reading of 140/105. Not very high yet, but I'm normally 120/80. It's been up and down since, although not sitting at my normal reading, so I'm just keeping an eye on it for now. I got the nurse to check if there was any protein in my urine, and there's not.. yet thank goodness! But seems it's on the cards

On a positive note, I've been working on Caterpillar's nursery! Not finished yet.

Plus I'm super excited to be 24 weeks and be classed as 'viable'

Baby Caterpillar - 23 Weeks.

I'm 23 weeks already!! When did this happen?! I can't believe it.
I've been sorting out most of the baby's clothes this week and wrote a list of the things we need to get, and there isn't much at all. This little one will be very spoilt!

My appetite has increased this week and I'm eating so much during the day, but my vomiting has increased a bit too so I haven't kept much down!
I've had a couple of good days though, which gives me a break :).

I've started working on the nursery again, and our rocking chair arrives tomorrow. We will paint it over the next couple of weeks and all will be left is adding in a change table and a bunting to finish it off.

I'm FINALLY feeling kicks now, just starting too. Every now and then I feel these little jolts and it's mainly when I'm laying in bed. Can't wait until I feel more. They gave Jydan a nice little kick on his hand too.. he didn't notice but it was so cute!

I feel like this pregnancy is going crazy quick and I can't keep up with the dates! People ask how much longer I've got left and I have no idea!
I need to get more organised, or at least clear out the nursery thats magically become the dumping room again!! I have got heaps of clothes already though and different things. Basically that's left to buy is just a change table and a rocking chair! So many things left over from Jydan.

I've been feeling really faint and tingly this week, when I mentioned it to the hospital doctor, he kinda shrugged it off and didn't really care. Will mention it to my normal GP next week. Other then that though, the nausea has been manageable and I've been able to eat this week!

I ordered a custom pregnancy anklet with moonlight, amber, agile, hazelwood and a couple of other things that are meant for swelling, heartburn, nausea and moods. I'm so excited to see how it works!

Baby Caterpillar - 21 Weeks.

So we had our scan!! Was just incredible, bubby looked perfect, and caught up to the measurements, only measuring a week behind now!
We also got a sneak peak of what little bubby is, but no revealing YET!
Here's our gorgeous little darling!!

After the scan we had the doctors appointment, who said the baby is looking good, but there's a 5mm cyst on it's brain. The doctor didn't say much more about it, just that we had to have more scans and more appointments. Only time will tell, but we're hoping for the best.

I haven't been too bad sickness wise this week but have started to feel really faint and hot flushy! I can't win!! I'm thinking it must be my iron, so going to dose myself up ;)

I had a doctors appointment this week, all went well, my fundal height is measuring a bit small, but we already knew bubby is a bit slow at growing so we weren't too worried about that. We have a scan in a week so will be able to see baby's exact measurements again. And we listened to baby's heart rate was gorgeous!! And reassuring!
