Guest Post Call Out - MCN Reviews.

I LOVE it when people guest post on my blog -
I get to read other people's posts and my blog keeps running!

This time I'm sending a call out for people to write a review on their favourite
Modern Cloth Nappies.

I wish that when I was searching for the perfect nappy I found a spot where I could see a whole heap of reviews in the one spot, instead I spent money on nappies that we never used!

The posts will all be in the same format that will make it easier for readers to read, and you to write!

Email me at harleymcocks@gmail.com if you want to guest post :)
I will run them until the end of January :)

(Next months guest post blog topic will be 'life with kids')

Baby Jydan - 11 Months.

Nine Months:
44-47 weeks

Wow, I can't believe Jydan is ONE in a MONTH! Party planning is in full swing and I'm SO excited.
Talking about Jydan turning one, we had his first birthday photos done...

I'll reveal the photo on Jydan's first birthday post. I wanted to do a cake smash but with all Jydan's allergies and Jydan's birthday being a hungry caterpiller theme a watermelon smash was so fitting, it was crazy! We had the same photographer for our maternity shoot and Jydan's newborn shoot and I can't recommend TK's photography enough! :D. The first take and second take went soo bad. Luckily Tanya captured some cute photos and some family snaps between teething screams and tantrums. My poor little man did not cope that day at all.. uh! But we're doing TAKE THREE a bit later on. When Jydan is a bit better.

We've had some AWFUL teething going on this month. It's been horrendous! My poor little man. We've had some pretty super fun times too. Besides birthday organising, this month we had a holiday interstate, which you can read about HERE  and went to my uncles wedding which you can read about HERE, my Opa's birthday dinner, football grand final, learning new and exciting things like furniture walking and exploring new foods!

We are battling a pretty bad rash at the moment... We've been to the doctors twice about it and we're still not sure what it is! A viral infection, a reaction or German measles!!

Jydan also had his first 'big boy' accident this month too. He sprained his wrist!! yes , my 11 month old SPRAINED HIS WRIST! I can't believe it! He was trying to furniture walk and then he let go, and lost his balance, and fell on his arm! He was pretty good about it though and it healed up pretty quick!

Wrapping his sprained wrist up in an icey face washer.
It's been a pretty hard month actually, on not much sleep at all, but that's okay, we all have our bad times... lets hope for a better month this month!

Teething:
We've had some AWFUL teething going on this month. It's been horrendous! My poor little man. We've had some pretty super fun times too He is cutting two wisdom's and a canine. Apparently the canines are the nasty ones so I'm kinda glad that we are half way through them :/. What's making it all worse is he's cross cutting. If teething wasn't bad enough.

Swimming:
We've had one week off swimming this month and will have this wednesday off too for his little buddy's first birthday party! I can't believe he is off to first birthday parties now! Anyway, he is doing so well at swimming. He is a fantastic little paddle and kicker, the teacher seems to be always impressed.
We have to time his naps perfectly on swimming day because if he's too tired he is soo crabby. But if he's awake, he's happy :).

Jydan's Milestones:

Jydan is FINALLY crawling properly! He has been commando crawling since he was nine months and has finally got up on his knees. We didn't think he would actually ever crawl! He is now furniture walking, so we just thought he would skip it and walk! We weren't too worried though because he is so good with his words. He even says 'I love you' now!! It's soo gorgeous, he says 'I laaa you' awww, bless him! So that's his first three word sentence, and what a gorgeous sentence! I think that proves we say that soo much to him - hehe. He also said at one point, while he was mid-feed 'More Yum Yum'.. it was gorgeous! Melted my heart. He got of the boob, looked at me and said 'More yum yum?' soo cute!
I really love that he communicates soo well. He doesn't use his words all the time, I don't expect him to at this age, but still! Some of his favourite words this month have been "up" "down" and "what" (as in 'what's that?').
Jydan drinks out of a pop top now. I would drink out of a pop top drink bottle and Jydan always wa nted to share - as our gorgeous babes do so we bought him a little filtered pop top water bottle that's small enough for him to hold and he is going great at it... it just gets very wet and messy.. a bib is always in order.

Reflux:
Because we are using nurofen (for the first time boohoo) for his teeth his poor tummy has been playing up too. When we bought the nurofen from the chemist (we have the best chemist) they did say that it can cause belly problems to those who have sensitive guts. Yep, that's poor jydy bum - and yep his stomach did gurgle alot the next day after giving it to him. So we are giving him reflux medicine too at the moment. I feel soo guilty because at the moment he is having vit D, iron, zantac and nurofen and panadol when needed.

Eczema:
Eczema has been pretty good for the most of the month but pretty nasty the last couple of days. With this mystary rash his eczema has been soo bad. We've had to bathe him in pinetarson and cover his red body in cortisone. It's pretty nasty, the poor little boy.

Routine:
With holidaying and teething, routine hasn't been going very well-at all! Actually he has made his own little routine.. waking at 2 am - 5am. Apparently that's the time to party! haha! We've just been putting him in our bed because I'm not getting up every 5 minutes :/.
When it's bad and he needs to be rocked back to sleep, I just go in the lounge and chuck a show on and rock him. Oh well.. he usually sleeps in till about 9 when he does it. I make a joke that he still thinks he is a newborn! haha.
He has two naps a day still, thank goodness. He has a 10am one and a 2pm. I hope he doesn't drop these anytime soon :P. My sanity time ;). It means I can get house work done and spend more time with Jydan when he's awake too!

Health Clinic Appointment:
Jydan went to the health clinic this month and actually LOST a little bit of weight. He also hasn't grown at all! I was so surprised, I suspected he had!
As usual, the nurse is always surprised about the amount of words Jydan knows... I think they don't believe me? I must say, I don't really know of any other bubs the same age that says the same amount of words.

Paediatrician Appointment:
No paeds app this month...

Weight/Height/Looks:
Jydan is about 8.3 kilos now , he was 8.4 kilos last month, so I was a bit sad. So that 18.29 pounds.. so yep he's tiny, lol! He is 71 cms tall, which is 27.9 inches, which isn't too bad! His height isn't far off average. Jydan is completely in 0's now, 6-12 month clothing. I'm so glad because he has so many really really cute clothes in this size! :D
Jydan has the biggest beautiful eyes, they are soo dark too, some people ask if they are black! So gorgeous!
Jydan's hair colour is really out now, now that his hair is growing more and quicker. He still hasn't got as much hair as he was born with.. I think he will be about 13 months until he does! I can't believe he lost it all.
Jydan's about to go up in sock sizes too, into 1-2 year old socks. :)

Nappies:
I got the cutest nappy made for Jydan's first birthday! It's so gorgeous! Just to match his hungry caterpillar party and photoshoot theme ;)

Jydan's Likes/Dislikes:
Jydan still loves his teddy called Fred! It's so adorable , he can't sleep without him.. aww! He kisses him to sleep too.
I think his favourite thing of all though is ME! He loves me soo much! I'm not just saying it because I'm his mum but he wants to be with me or on me 24/7, haha! He even wants to sleep in our bed!! My sweet, sweet mummys boy. It definitely makes me feel loved too :D
At the moment Jydan is hating food, ugh! What a horrible thing to hate, gr! Hopefully he gets over his little food phobia. It's because of his teethies. They must be really sore for him.
He also had a cot phobia. Another horrible thing to hate haha.. I think we are finally getting over his little cot phobia.

Feeding:
I can't believe we are only a month away from our twelve month breastfeeding goal! I'm really proud of how close we've come. We'll definitely make it too! :D. After twelve months I'm thinking of weaning him through the day, but I'm not sure.. I haven't really decided. I'm sure Ill let you know though ;). He's feeding alot more atm because he isn't really eating solids. He is probably having about 5 tablespoons a day if he's lucky! He use to have 5 tablespoon a meal, 3 X a day, plus afternoon tea! So I hope he builds up his apatite again!

Baby Jydan - 10 Months.

Nine Months:
40-44

While being babysat by nanny
My little boy is getting soo smart. He has learnt so much in the passed month it's been amazing to watch. My beautiful darling is growing up and learning and taking on the world. I just loving being home and molding his little mind. The plan was that I would return to work when Jydan turned one. But it's getting so close and I really, really don't want to. I applied for a couple of weekend job and maybe I'll apply for some night time positions but I don't want to miss out on Jydan through the day. For the first time yet I managed to leave him for more then an hour though, He stayed at my mums for three hours. At this time Jydan decided he was too cool for school... he wouldn't sleep. Like he literally woke every hour through the night. Turns out it was because we swept Jydan into a sleeping bag instead of blankets. Ugh! Who would have thought It took us weeks to figure out that of course my child is THAT picky, changing such a minor thing would muck up his whole sleep.. he's so picky about everything else! So we are finally getting more sleep and the bad habit is finally disappearing.. yey!
Jydan is going through a really shy faze. It's soo cute!! If a stranger looks at him, he'll look away. He has always done it every now and then and now it's all the time. He'll snuggle  right in and hide his face. soo cute!! He likes looking at strangers but once they make eye contact he hides.. and then he'll unhide.. and hide. Like a little game. So funny! Probably one of the biggest things I love about him at the moment!

Being funny this month.

Teething:
My little man has 4 teeth in 2 months.. not bad my little man!
He teeth's soo well. We don't knoe that he has cut a tooth until it's cut! and I check and and there's a little sharpy there!

Swimming:
Swimming is going really well. Well, as long as Jydan has his morning nap before hand! haha. Sometimes it makes him sooo tired and sooo crabby! But the other times he is really good at it, especially paddle and kicking. Paddle and kicking is probably his strongest and best part of his swimming lessons. And not being biased, he is probably the best paddle and kicker in his little group!
He is making friends at swimming now, it's really cute! And they're all about the same age. In the whole group they're all between 9 and 15 months :).

Jydan's Milestones:

Jydan is commando crawling really well now. I thought his little wormy caterpillar crawl was really cute so I'm sad that he gave that up lol.
Jydan is pulling himself up on everything now and starting to furniture walk. It's crazy! I can't believe he is doing that. I don't think it'll be long until he's walking. He took A step too. Of course towards the bath. haha!
He says about 16 or so words now, lets see if I can remember them all;
Hello, Mum, Dad, Bub, Mimi (Millie), More, Apple, Mmmm (Milk), Ta, Up, Down, Boooo (Book), Ball, What, no, Uh Oh..I think that's all. He makes lots of noises too. The other day I said brum brum car and he said it too.
Jydan has been having alot of finger food lately. He is more interested in feeding himself, so lots of chunks and food he can feed himself. He is doing sooo well with it!
Jydan now drinks out a pop top. He kept stealing my pop top water bottle so I bought him a kiddies one, and he's a pro with it!
Jydan absalutely loooves doing puzzles and is getting the hand of them. He can pull all the pieces out himself and tries to put them back in, but they don't fit. He is learning.

Reflux:
We had to give Jydan a bit of reflux medicine this month, probably a whole week out of the month. But other then that, nothing! Not even a little vomit! Yey!

Eczema:
Eczema hasn't been tooo bad. A couple of outbreaks but nothing too serious. We seem to be fairly on top of it these days.

Routine:
Jydan had a fairly bad month for sleep. What we thought was a simple 9 month sleep regression or a bit of a gurgly stomach turns out Mr fussy pots was soo irritated by a sleeping bag. Because he was crawling all around his cot, we changed him into a sleeping bag instead of blankets. He hated it and started waking every hour through the night. By the time we realised that that was the cause he was already in the habit of waking every hour! Gosh! Now we've changed him back to blankets he has gone down to waking 2-3 times a night. Which is alot better then about 12! ;). Hopefully things keep improving :).

Sunday Craft Days:

To be honest, we've only done two craft days this month! We have been so busy! But the two weeks we did do craft, it was so fun!
My favourite one was probably the paint stamping! Make sure you tune in for my craft for babies posts to see what crafts we've been up to :)

Health Clinic Appointment:
We haven't got to the health clinic this month, it's been really bad weather and raining and I don't want to be walking in the rain. But I'll get onto it soon.

Paediatrician Appointment:
We had a paeds appointment and Jydan is doing sooo well with his growing. I'm so proud. So much so that I cancelled his future dietition appointments. :). He still requires his iron and Vit D liquids but We are hoping that hell be off them soon. He has follow up blood tests in about 2 months.

Weight/Height/Looks:
Jydan is about 8.4 kilos now, which is 18.5 pounds. He is growing really well now. I'm so proud! It's taking alot of hard work to get him to grow so it makes me ubbbber proud. He is fitting into size 0's now (6-12 month clothing) but still some 00's. It's mainly pants that are 0's. He is fairly tall for his weight.
Jydan has the most gorgeous face expressions. He can tell a whole story with his face. It's gorgeous.

Nappies:
It's been raining fairly bad at the moment so Jydan has only been in cloth nappies for about 80 or so percent of the time so I can catch up on washing. During the night and on Wednesdays he is in disposables. Gee, I can't believe how much disposables we go through in just that time. It's been hard trying to find a disposable that doesn't leak too. Jydan is a very heavy wetter, cloth are definately best for him.
He is now in medium cloth nappies and crawler disposables. Last month he was in small cloth and infant (one size up from newborn) sposies.

Jydan's Likes/Dislikes:

Jydan absolutely loves his little teddy called Fred. He can't sleep without him and we oftern can't go out without him. If Jydan is a bit grizzly. Fred always fixes him. It's almost like a dummy! haha.
Jydan loooves standing up and trying to walk. It's his favourite thing to do. And now we can leave him standing holding onto things it makes things so much easier.
At the moment, Jydan is hating going to sleep!! After crawling around the cot, pulling himself up and down and having a sook. He won't just go to sleep anymore!
There's a TV show called 'chuggington' he ADORE's it!! We don't let him watch much TV but we let him watch this. It's about trains, kinda a modern version of Thomas the Tank Engine. We had the TV on one morning while I had a lay-in and realised how much he loved it! and that was it!

Feeding:

We are still breastfeeding!!! YEY! I'm so proud! Jydan has about 4-5 feeds a day. He also has about 4 solid meals a day. Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner. We are doing more baby led-weaning these days but some meals we do pureed, especially breakfast so he can get more into him. His favourite food is rice rusks. He absalutely loves them.

Baby Jydan - 8 Months. (one month late)

Eight Months:
 31-34 weeks:

I'm SO late with this, but oh well, here it is :)...

My poor little man has been really sick this month. He had a bad cough, the it turned into a cold then bronchiolitis. I missed a few of his weekly posts so I've decided that along with Jydan being sick & also really active now maybe I should just stick to the monthly posts for him. He is really keeping me on my toes now & I love being able to make more time for him. I have his progress photos and journey to the tt posts I'll still post :).
Sick lil boy
This month has been HUGE! He is growing up so quickly & so smart! He is a real 'big' baby now, becoming more & more independent & active. He isn't crawling yet but he can magically move him self from one side of the lounge to the other! He is a scooter and a turner. I'm making the most of him not get into things though, because its not going to last much longer!!
We've started swimming & Jydan is getting so good at it. I'll go into more detail down below. He loves it, and has made a little friend!
Other then that, this month has involved the start of our craft nights! PAINTING! It was so fun! We are going to have craft nights once a week, except this week we're going to do some cooking! He is going to help me cook some organic/ wheat free rusks and eats the goodies after :).
Jydan had his eight month health clinic appointment, also a dietician appointment and a peadertrition appointment. He has been a busy baby! He us still going to a peadertrition about his lack of head growth & then now his body isn't growing very well either. Blood tests showed that he has really low iron & vit D. We are now seeing an improvement with his weight gain since Jydan has been on iron & vit D liquid, yey! :D He has finally doubled his birth weight as of the other day! Took him double the time, but he did it ;).
Swimming:
We practice getting in & out of the bath safely each night & he's really getting the hang of it! I can't believe the amazing things he is learning at such a young age. Like flipping himself over to float in the water, crawling along the wall, getting in and out, paddle and kicking, getting use to water on his face, floating, blowing bubbles and a few other things. Now that he has learnt about bubbles, all he wants to do is blow bubbles! All the time! From the moment he puts himself to sleep to when he wakes up.
Jydan's Milestones:

Jydan mastered sitting this month! He was just over 7 months, so he was fairly early. I was so proud! I owe it to this amazing sitting support that my mums friend made! It helped teach Jydan to balance himself :).
Now he has learnt to sit though he just wants to stand!! He is now standing while holding onto things! Strong little leggies.
Jydan says probably ten words now? I know, I know! so crazy huh! He only says about five all the time but that's still HEAPS! His words are ; Mum, dad, apple, more, hello, no, book, bath, bub & I can't remember what else. I can't remember, I can't keep up! lol. He has said his first two word sentence too which was 'more apple'.
Jydan's doing really well with his sippy cup. He sips away after a meal. It melts my heart!

Reflux:
Since Jydan can sit independently now the reflux has improved HEAPS! We've even cut down his medicine to half the amount! He was having 0.8 ml day & night. Now he is having 0.3 morning & 0.4 through the night! I'm so pleased :). It's been a slow process to cut it down, It's taken us a month to cut it down to half. I don't want to get too ahead of myself.

Eczema:
Eczema is going well too & has been fairly mild this month. I was really scared about the chlorine in the swimming pool & Jydan's eczema but I actually think it's helped it! Kill the bacteria in it or something. I was surprised! I really thought it would make it worse.
I've found wheat & strawberries really make it play up so we stay away from them!

Routine:
Jydan wakes anywhere between 7.30-8.00 and goes to bed at 7.00. He has three naps. Two are 40-60 minutes and one is between an hour & a half - two hours. He still wakes up once through the night, the health nurse said I could try and get him out of it but I'm happy to feed him! Especially since he is having trouble gaining weight.
He is still having about five feeds in a 24 hour period. and has three solid meals a day. We are now offering him afternoon tea too since he had trouble gaining weight. So he will have some foods he can pick up and eat. Like cheese, a Mandarin, apple pieces ect. So we are doing a little bit of baby led weaning :).

Sunday Craft Days:
We've started craft days on Sundays and have had sooo much fun! Last weekend we started with finger painting. Jydan's first painting effort. We all had soo much fun, especially Jydan. I'm so glad he loved it. Here is our super fun painting experience :)

Health Clinic Appointment:
The nurse was really impressed with how Jydan is travelling. Especially with how smart he is becoming. He is doing really well and ticking all the right boxes. She was impressed that we read together, the amount of words that he knows and that his growing is picking back up :). The only thing to keep an eye on really is the fact that he has no toothy tooths yet. His next health clinic assessment is when he is 12 months old but we have to go monthly for weight and measurement checkups.

Paediatrician Appointment:
The padertrition referred us to a dietician as well to try and figure out what we can do to increase Jydans weight! We are also on iron liquid and vitamin D liquid as the pead sent us for blood tests and saw that he was really low!

Weight/Height/Looks:
Thankfully Jydan has FINALLY doubled his birth weight. Better late then never, right? He now weight 7.5 kilos and is 67 cm long. That's 16.5 pounds and 26.4 inches! So he put on a bit of weight this week.. still not the average amount but he did well! We were really proud :).
Jydan's hair is really growing now too! He still hasn't got as much as he was born with.
Jydan's eyes are such a beautiful brown colour, really, really dark. almost black! So gorgeous!

Nappies:
We have been using disposable about 10 % of the time at the moment due to the rain and I just can't keep up with the washing! Let alone the dishes! Let alone blogging.. oh dear!
Because Jydan has slimmed off a lot I thought I would try his size smalls back on and they fit perfectly now, so he now has more nappies for his stash! I don't think this boy will ever fit into larges! haha. Which wil be fine because we won't have to buy any more nappies :). It feels great to say though!

Jydan's Likes/Dislikes:
Jydan is really enjoying his food, it's been great to see. There has been days where he doesn't want to eat much and some days he wants to eat the house down but he actually loves his food so much that he will have a little giggle while he's eating!!
Techno baby! Jydan loves anything to do with technology. Remotes, mobile phones, the TV, the computer- anything technology he wants his hands on. I think we need to invest in some baby techno things for his birthday.
Jydan absolutely loves standing and is getting sooo good with it! He is starting to hold his own weight up. It's funny because he isn't crawling, maybe he will be one of those babies that walk before crawling?
Jydan's favourite toy at the moment is little blocks. Those shape blocks that you have to put into the different shape holes? Well he loves them! It's gorgeous! So we spend a bit of time going over what colour and shape they are.

Feeding:
Jydan eats about 3-5 tablespoons three times a day as well as 5 breastmilk feeds. We are introducing cows milk too which we are slowly introducing and he will eventually have for one feed every second day. We were advised from the dietitian to help with weight gain :).
We are also introducing afternoon tea. He isn't ready for it, but we need to push it to help him gain weight too, so he is having a rice rusk or something little until he build up an appetite for it :).

Baby Jydan - 7 Months

Seven Months:

30 weeks:
It's been such a big month this month, full of amazing milestones, I'm beside myself. There seems to be such a big difference between six months and seven months. Not with growth, because the little man isn't growing as well as  he should but with his milestones.
A few things that have gone on this month is my gallbladder surgery, Jydan graduated to a big baby carseat instead of a capsule, We had my mothers group, my study group, church, I lost my milk supply and got it back again, Jydan learnt to sleep unwrapped, we booked in for swimming lesson, had my sisters birthday, had family photos, 6 month immunisations and a health clinic appointment, play dates, music, Jydan started wearing the next size up, finally drank from a bottle but now drinks from a cup, started eating more foods and now says five words!
It's also been a big 'mummy' week for me! I put him in crèche for the first time.. and the second time while I went to my mums group. It was only for an hour, and I could see him the whole time, but it was a HUGE step for me. I think the fact that I had to leave him while I was in the hospital helped me be able to leave him, but it was still really hard. Ugh, but I did it! My dad said that if I don't leave him by the time he is one he is going to have an intervention, haha. It only took me six months :P.

Millie the dog has been able to take Jydan a bit more nowadays, they even play fetch together! So cute! Jydan will tap the ball and Millie will pick it up and put it on his bum (Don't ask!) but so cute! Jydan get's so excited by her too, so lovely.

Jydan's Milestones:

Jydan is now saying FIVE words now. I can't believe it. Speaking in single syllable words all day words pays off, huh? He now says 'MUM 'APPLE' 'DAD' 'NO' and 'MORE'. He is incredibly clever, I can't believe it. He also mimics sounds and mouth movements. He will watch what you're saying, mimic mouth movements and then just gives up and squalls. It's so gorgeous!  I'm not expecting anymore words anytime soon though, surely not?!

Although Jydan can't crawl yet, he can mysteriously move himself for one side of the lounge to the other. I have no idea how? All of a suddon he has moved a few meters, turned 360 degrees and flipped himself around. ha! I think it's his legs. I think he pushes off with them?

Jydan loves his feet, and thinks they belong right in his mouth! He has stopped doing his crunches now, I think he just lifts his legs up to his face instead.
Jydan has been laughing for a while now but he has caught the giggles. The little munchkin has caught the giggles and he laughs at anything, apparently im hilarious!

Reflux:
So Jydan hasn't grown out of his reflux yet... so much for babies should be over it by six months. It was actually recommended that Jydan went on a stronger medicine, but I'm going to wait because it's known to cause constipation. I'm going to wait 'till he can sit more independently, see if being more upright settles it down.

Eczema:
As you can see on his poor little face, we are still trying to find the best way to kick this eczema in the butt. Literally nothing is working and he seems to be reacting to everything, more so natural products because they're plant based. And plants irriate eczema. So we are reviewing mine and his diet. Arggghh!

Routine:
I'm really happy with Jydan's routine and he seems fairly happy with it too. He is pretty settled and happy, so it works well for him :). It chops and changes and sometimes he sleeps for longer but generally it's three 45 minute naps, unless he sleeps on me which he sometimes does with his 3pm sleep. I love our cuddle time! He wakes for the day either 7.30 or 8.30am and goes to bed at 7pm. He has 4-5 milk feeds a day, depending if he sleeps through the night, and 3 solid meals a day that are anywhere between 3 & 1/2 - 4 & 1/2 tablespoons a meal. We change his bum every 2 hours except for the morning its every hour, because he's a pee machine.  He poops everyday at 6:10pm, almost to the dot.. so funny! We have a bath around 6.20 and sometimes we get caught :/.

Health Clinic Appointment:
Jydan is reaching all the right milestones and is doing exceptionally well with his words. We need to try and put more weight on him as he hasn't doubled his birth weight yet, but other then that, everything is going great according the health nurse.

Paediatrician Appointment:
Uggghhhh our last appointment was cancelled, and we have another one booked for the 19th. For goodness sake, He is now 7 months and has had one appointment that he's suppose to have monthly.

Weight/Height/Looks:
This month Jydan only put on about 160grams. Combination of my milk doing funny things and Jydan usually not gaining enough in general. It seems to be less and less each month. So we've been told to put him on a more fatty diet now.. avocado galore! More meats and a little bit of veg oil.
Jydan is 7.2 kilos, which is 15.8 pounds and 68cm (26.7 inches). His tiny head is 41 cm (16.1 inches).

Nappies:
Between the cold rainy weather and being unable to get the nappies dry and myself not being able to
bend a great deal to get them hung up or in the machine because of surgery (which I feel I can get back to normal now) we've had to use sposeis every now and then, but still mainly cloth. I'm on the look out to get some more.

Jydan's Likes/Dislikes:
Sleeping is a bit of a dislike at the moment, man can this babe refuse to sleep. He sleeps fine on me, but not really practical 90% of the time. He sleeps well at night most of the time  and sometimes he's a breeze to put to sleep, but goodness me, other times.. like this morning!! He is loving a lot of his toys at the moment, especially his play table. And music, he loves music. His favourite song that I sing to him is the alphabet.. good choice, Jydan!
He doesn't like it when he does a poop and tries to wiggle away from it. Poor thing doesn't realise that it's going to follow him until he finishes and I can change him.
He is really loving standing up at the moment, he is a big wobbler though so we have to hold him.

Feeding:

I'm so proud, So, I lost my milk while I was in hospital but I've amazingly got it back!! Yey! So we're feeding amazingly again. And I'm still determined to feed him until he is about one and a half :).
He eats LOTS too. around 4 tablespoons each meal. He loves chicken and he loves mango! He is a bit of a picky eater and if he doesn't like it, he will refuse it. So I tend to hide the things he doesn't like in foods he does. He is drinking a bit of water with his food now too, from a sippy cup.
