Party prepping for a child with allergies.

My son has a lot of friends around his age which for the lucky little man mean a fair few birthday parties! He just attended his sixth birthday party for this year already! With all his intolerance's and his allergy that was tested last week, birthday parties can be fairly tricky! And my poor son has to of course miss out on the birthday cake, and sometimes he can't have any snacks to. So the last two parties I decided that after asking the host's, we will bring some party snacks ourselves for Jydan and a little cupcake or something when everyone is having cake. I have the most delicious allergy free cake recipe I will share.

Gluten, Dairy & Egg free chocolate covered biscuits, banana chips & Dairy & Gluten free Fairy bread.

But what I didn't think about is the party bags! Full of egg lollies, left him with a couple of jelly lollies and a balloon. Not that we make a habit of giving him lollies anyway, but it just made me realise that I have to organise some lolly bag treats to swap over!

How egg aware are you? Did you know all these, but the oreo's that he couldn't have anyway, contain egg?
Next one of Jydan's friends parties, I will have a little goodie bag of allergy friendly treats.

Here are some ideas of what you can put in your allergy child's take with you goodie bag;
-Organic Popcorn.
-Banana Chips.
-Allergy Friendly Cookies.
-Organic Honey Lollipops.
-Allergy Free Muesli Bars
-Allergy Free Truffles.
-Rice Cakes.
-Balloons.
-Play-Doh.
-Stickers.
-Crayons.

Do you have anymore ideas on what we can add?

Research is finding too, those with dairy intolerance's are often intolerant to glucose as well, something to look out for!

Chuggington Second Birthday Planning.

I am crazy organised, and I can't help it!! Jydan doesn't turn two for another sevon months. I'm not wishing time away, I truely love this age, but I just love planning things!
I just love coming up with ideas and putting them aside to look back at later!

Jydan is OBSESSED with Chuggington!
I was originally going to do a zoo party, but he just loves chugginton so much! Seriously, If I hear 'more chuggington' anymore!! So yes! It will be a Chuggington themed second birthday. Here are some ideas I'm loving!

OUTFIT:
I haven't decided what outfit I want for him yet.. I can't find anything I like. I want something handmade and funky and cute though!!

PARTY INVITES:
I love these ticket party invitations!

CAKE:

I LOOOVE this cake! It's my favourite! And I 'think' I can make it! :D

FAVOURS:

I'm wanting to use these super cute chuggington cups as favours and fill them with chuggington stickers, a train wristle, and I love these chuggington pads!

DECORATIONS:

So many cute decoration ideas!

PARTY SUPPLIES:

You can get everything chuggington!! Exciting!

FOOD:

This is SO what I'm doing! Having the party food on a train!

How cute are these train sandwiches!!

WHERE:
I'm going to try and have it at the bike centre. It's a road and safety centre with road signs and road rules just for kids! They take their bikes and have a ball! It will suit the theme so well!

First Birthday Planning (VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR PARTY)

I'm a bit of a freak, a nutcase really.. Jydan is not even 9 months and most of his party is organised..... I'm not joking. His outfit is made, theme has been picked, venue booked, date and time picked, food thought about, photo-shoot is booked, invites thought about, photo-shoot outfit made and even the nappy has been chosen!

I LOVE event planning - give me an event and I'm in my 'zone'! My wedding was DIY, I planned everything down to the personalised soaps! Jydan's naming day was planned before he was born, my birthdays are always planned. So I'm so glad I have an event in my hands that I can plan, plan, plan! And what a super fun event to plan :).

Jydan is having a VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR party and I'm super excited.

Here are some of the super fun things my little munchkin has planned!

THE OUTFIT:
This is his gorgeous outfit. The pants and top is for his party and the hat and tie is for his watermelon smash! It's all made and ready and waiting! Exciting! Isn't it gorgeous... Here's it on, yep, we've even tried it on!!

THE CAKE:
How effective does this look? Looks very easy to do too which is so me! And we don't have to cut up a cake, just pass around the cupcakes :).

DECORATIONS:

Here are some super cute, easy, caterpillar, fun decorations I'm thinking about!

FOOD IDEAS:
We are matching the food from the party to the very hungry caterpillar story! So each food that the caterpillar eats in the book, will be featured for the party food. It will also TELL the story on the food table. A bit like this:

Can't wait to plan some more!!
